Rising Energy Cost
According to national statistics; heating and air conditioning continue to be the highest residential energy consumable.
Residential air conditioning alone accounts for 6% of all electricity consumed in the United States today, at a cost to homeowners exceeding $10 billion annually.  According to the US Department of Energy.
“US residential electricity prices are expected to increase at a rate of 0.3% during 2007, a growth rate slightly higher than the 2.2% average over the last 10 years.
States undergoing market restructuring will continue to experience more rapid price increases as rate caps expire and higher fuel costs are passed to consumers.
For example, some customers in Maryland may see rate increases of up to 50%
Also Oregon’s Public Utility Commission has recently approved an increase of 13% for some residential customers. Average US residential electricity prices are expected to rise by 2.5% during 2008.* if "Cap and Trade" legislation is passed utility cost will double or triple nation wide.
The fact is prices continue to rise and finding more efficient means is a necessity. There are many contributing factors when looking at energy loss and the HVAC system.
Older systems operate less efficient than many new ones. Proper system sizing is a definite factor. Many systems are sized incorrectly; meaning the return vents might be too large or too small, there may be duct leakage and duct heat gains and losses; not to mention many other factors.

These Are The Facts:
What we don’t know can hurt us. Over one and a half million Americans suffer from untimely death or diminished quality of life each year due to lung and heart disease. Much of the deterioration that contributes to the development of these diseases is attributed to poor air quality.
The good news is these diseases are preventable.
Medical doctors estimate that nearly 80% of all diseases are preventable. Pollutants commonly found in the air we breathe,  food we eat and water we drink, can make your immune system weaker and less capable of defending you against diseases.

Most of the 75,000+ man-made chemicals have never been properly tested for safety. Following exposure to multiple chemicals, it may be impossible to determine which ones breakdown your health.
The Human Body Machine

All doctors would agree that the human body operates like a highly sophisticated, fine tuned clock; in that as long as you feed it the proper nutrients and shield it from corrosive elements it will sustain its due course.
Imbedded within the tissues and organs of the average American today, exists more than 100 toxic pollutants, that over time can and will damage initially the 5 bowels of the human body (small intestine, large intestine, stomache, gall bladder, urinary bladder) ultimately affecting their associated organs (heart, lungs, spleen, liver, kidney) and without proper protection and a prevention game plan in place your chances of receiving a verdict of peremature DEATH increases significantly! The wonderful part of all this is we live in an age of technology where every single bit of it is completely PREVENTABLE through Awareness and Action.
